LITTLE SWITZERLAND

Little Switzerland is a small community located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway high in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Located off Exit 334 on the Parkway, the town has eight shops and a post office within the city limits. The Little Switzerland Inn is one thing that draws visitors to this spot. It is a beautiful country inn, built in 1910, that features gorgeous views of the mountains from its rooms, private chalets, covered motorcycle parking, an arts-and-crafts shop, restaurant, 2 patio bars, tennis courts, and a swimming pool with 2 outdoor hot tubs. The average July temperature is 68 degrees. Three miles away is the Emerald Village and the North Carolina Mining Museum, definitely worth a stop!
