MOORE COVE FALLS
Moore Cove Falls is a 50' waterfalls located in the Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina. To reach these falls, one must hike a ¾-mile trail rated moderate difficulty. During dryer years, Moore Creek occasionally dries to a trickle which has a dramatic affect on the beauty of the falls. The cove itself, and the hike up, are very scenic. As with this, and all mountain waterfalls, beware of climbing near the falls. On April 27, 2007, a hiker was killed at Moore Cove Falls when he fell 50' from the top of the falls.
